Priyanka Chopra wants to democratize beauty with her new hair care brand, Anomaly.

Priyanka Chopra Anomaly Jonas wants to revolutionize the hair care industry by making it gender neutral, conscious and environmentally friendly. All product packaging is made from 100% recycled plastic and harmful chemicals such as parabens, phthalates and sulfates have been enriched by replacing ingredients with eucalyptus, jojoba and avocado. “These are the ingredients that make your hair strong and that’s exactly what Indians have learned throughout our lives in terms of lubrication and scalp care,” the actress said. “The basis of the Anomaly starts here – thick hair.”
Personally, I like to use the Clarifying Shampoo after shampooing as it successfully removes oil from my hair and dry shampoo on my busy days. I am looking forward to trying the Deep Conditioning Healing Mask which has not yet been released in India.
Watch Priyanka Chopra Jonas chat with Megha Kapoor, Head of Editorial at Vogue India, and hear all the excitement about the launch of her hair care brand Anomaly in India on August 26th at Nykaa. We’re talking about natural ingredients, beneficial treatments, and a bold new move that democratizes hair care. Here is an excerpt from their conversation:
“I just recently got into the beauty and entertainment business. It really taught me the difference between sitting in the hairdresser’s chair and using a lot of products, and being able to influence what goes into my hair,” says Chopra-Jonas, who collaborated a lot with the incredible hairdressers around him. World.
A 40-year-old man said: “I didn’t have hair as a child, imagine! My grandmother was afraid that I would be bald forever, so she let me sit between her legs and gave me the good old fragrant proportion … I think it worked. Now she uses Anomaly Scalp Oil the night before before shampooing and it takes her 10 minutes to apply it to her hair. She highlights the importance of stimulating the hair roots during scalp treatments to increase blood flow and help your hair grow stronger. You can also use leave-in conditioner as an overnight treatment by applying it and then braiding your hair into loose braids. If you are using oil, it is recommended that you apply it to clean, washed hair so that the stickiness does not interfere with the effectiveness of the oil.
Sometimes you are late and there is no time to wash your hair. This is where dry shampoo comes in handy. But as Megha Kapoor (who often wears black) says, “When you wear black, those nasty white marks from dry shampoo spread all over your body. It’s like “Oh no, that’s embarrassing!” This is what makes Anomaly dry shampoo different from others. . The award-winning product leaves no residue and is ideal for busy women as it is enriched with ingredients such as tea tree oil and rice starch.
Kapoor recently moved to India and just got into the wet and frizzy hair club. When asked for advice, Priyanka Hora suggested, “Adhesive mask, leave-in conditioner and moisturizer. Of course it will help with frizzy hair.”
The Anomaly Bonding Treatment Mask is designed to bond your hair’s damaged cuticles, making your hair more manageable and healthier in the long run! If your hair doesn’t respond well to moisture, moisturize it.
Priyanka Chopra mentions that they are deliberately not paired with shampoos and conditioners as they are often misleading and limit most hair types. For example, if you’ve oiled your hair recently or used a lot of styling products, a clarifying shampoo can work wonders because it contains ingredients like eucalyptus and charcoal. And since brightening products can dry out your skin a little, use a moisturizing conditioner. However, for people with dry hair, a more moisturizing shampoo makes sense, while conditioners can target shinier or stronger hair. Overall, the line seems to focus on moisturizing products, such as a smoothing conditioner with argan oil and quinoa (a lovely, unique combination!) and a glossy anti-dullness conditioner.
“For me, it’s all about the democratization of beauty,” says Priyanka, “which is important in a country where people still buy shampoo in sachets because they are more affordable.” is from 700 to 1000 rupees.
While the hair care industry in India is pretty much still trying to get rid of harmful ingredients while promising an affordable price, Anomaly promises to be a breath of fresh air, allowing even middle class consumers to choose their hair and environment with care!
