Trimmer died Tuesday afternoon after falling into a logging truck at a construction site in northern California.
The Menlo Park Police Department told KTVU FOX 2 that the production accident occurred around 12:50 p.m.
The victim reportedly worked for SP McClenahan, a tree growing company owned by Bartlett Tree Experts. Authorities have not yet established how he got into the crusher.
Colleagues at the scene declined to speak about the as-yet-unidentified victim, but people who lived nearby told a local television station that they knew companies operating in the area.

“We were very sad. We tried to imagine how this poor family and their colleagues felt. It was very simple. We felt bad,” Lisa Mitchell told KGO-TV.
